Shipping Policy

 

All glass bottles, cans, pringles and other delicate products will only be shipped by pallet and not in parcels. If your order does not meet the minimum spend for free pallet delivery, an additional shipping charge will apply. If you would like to receive your order by parcel, then please remove these items from your cart.

Orders will be dispatched within 1-2 working days of the order being processed on the website, during peak periods there may be slight delays in processing your orders.

Orders will always be sent to the delivery/shipping address. Please ensure that you check the delivery address is entered correctly before checking out. We will not accept any liability for mis-deliveries or re-deliveries.

We reserve the right to charge a £15 administration fee for any cancelled or incorrectly placed orders. We reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee for returned orders. Customers returning items are also liable for all shipping costs.

All orders are delivered during business hours, please ensure that there is someone available to accept and sign for the delivery at all times. We will not be held liable for any charges arising from failed deliveries or redeliveries.

You are required to check your order thoroughly upon delivery. You must notify us of any damages or shortages within 24 hours of delivery by email or Whatsapp and provide photographic evidence. No claims will be processed after 24 hours of delivery.

All pallet deliveries must be checked before signing paperwork or accepting delivery from the transport company, you have 15 minutes to check the order on delivery. No claims will be processed for damages or discrepancies if the proof of delivery is signed for as correct or unchecked. Pallet deliveries are kerb side only, the driver will not always be able to bring the pallet to your shop threshold.

All parcels are sent with tracked deliveries by either Royal Mail or another national courier on a tracked and signed service. You will receive tracking details by email once the warehouse has packed your order and prepared for dispatch.

All pallet deliveries are sent with a pallet network, it is your responsibility to make sure that someone will be available to accept the delivery. If you require delivery bookings or other requirements, please write this in the order notes before checking out.

Delivery fees are based on your delivery postcode and minimum order value and may change at any time. All minimum order values are calculated excluding VAT.

We have tried to include as many delivery options as possible on the website, if you require a special delivery service and you do not see it as an option when checking out, please email sales@candybase.co.uk for further assistance.

Timed deliveries, evening and Saturday deliveries are available for an additional charge. If you need any assistance with adding these services to your order at checkout, please email sales@candybase.co.uk

All orders which have next day, or premium delivery are dispatched on time to allow the orders to be delivered on time as required. We cannot be held liable for any delays in delivery due to circumstances outside our control after the goods have left our warehouse.

Orders with multiple parcels may be sent by pallet at our discretion.

If your any part of your order cannot be delivered for any reason or the order was not collected and is returned to us, the cost of the goods returned will be credited less an administrative fee to cover postage and handling fees. If a delivery is refused for any reason, a re-delivery fee will be payable.

Standard delivery times vary across different parts of the country and may vary during peak seasons. Any delivery date advised to you is provided on standard times provided to us by the delivery companies, we cannot be held liable for any changes in the schedule.

Any products which are heat sensitive and are ordered during the summer months, or any other period with warm weather, will be dispatched at your own risk. We will not accept liability for any damage in transport caused due to warm weather or heat.
